CNH Industrial leads ‘Tech Talk’ on autonomous innovation and alternative fuels at WE17 - Society of Women Engineers conference

CNH Industrial (NYSE: CNHI /MI: CNHI) representatives Chun Woytera and Brad Lukac will lead a Technology Talk on Friday, October 27 in Austin, Texas, at WE17 - the world’s largest conference and career fair for women in engineering and technology. This year’s annual conference, hosted by the Society of Women Engineers, expects over 14,500 attendees.

CNH Industrial has been an exhibitor at the Society of Women Engineers’ annual conference since 2012. In addition to the 2017 Technology Talk, a team of CNH Industrial recruiters will also be on-site to meet with potential recruits at various career levels from current college students, recent graduates and experienced professionals.

“With our passion for agriculture, our forward-thinking engineers prepare farmers for the challenges of tomorrow, today. We combine alternative fuels and advanced agricultural technology to support modern sustainable farming practices,” said Chun Woytera, Senior Director of Commercial Marketing for New Holland North America. “I am looking forward to sharing a window into the future of agriculture and agricultural engineering with everyone at WE17, and I hope my presentation will inspire the young women in attendance to consider a career in agriculture or engineering.”

Earlier this year New Holland unveiled its next step in fueling innovation with the Methane Power concept tractor, a key aspect of the company’s Clean Energy Leader strategy, which emphasizes the importance of sustainable energy in agriculture. CNH Industrial’s brands Case IH and New Holland both launched autonomous tractor concepts in 2016. Ms. Woytera and Mr. Lukac will discuss the technology that supports methane power and driverless technology, and then explain how both concepts support sustainable farming.

Both Ms. Woytera and Mr. Lukac have led extensive careers at CNH Industrial. Chun Woytera followed her father’s footsteps, a combine engineer, into the field of agricultural engineering. She has held varied positions of increasing responsibility during her career with the Company spanning nearly 20 years including, engineering, field testing, field service, sales, network development, operations and marketing.
  
Brad Lukac has held diverse roles within CNH Industrial since 1997, including project engineering in harvesting and tractors, sales, and product management. Mr. Lukac was involved in the incubation and innovation planning of autonomous vehicle technology, including a leading role in the launch of the concept vehicles in 2016.

CNH Industrial has 12 manufacturing plants, 10 research and development centers, and a workforce of 9,000 people in the North American region. The company designs, produces and sells ‘machines for work’ and is present in all major markets worldwide giving it a unique competitive position.
