CNH Industrial hosts United States Senator Bob Casey at New Holland plant

CNH Industrial (NYSE: CNHI /MI: CNHI) hosted United States Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) at its New Holland, Pennsylvania plant on Tuesday, October 10, for a roundtable discussion with plant leadership and a plant tour.

New Holland Agriculture and New Holland Construction sell and service an innovative line of agricultural and construction equipment, including tractors, hay and forage equipment, skid steer loaders, compact track loaders and mini excavators.

“A great Pennsylvania name, and the great craftsmanship of our people, is recognized globally with each machine that comes off this line,” said Senator Casey. “Manufacturing jobs and growth is critical to this area, and New Holland serves as a leading example of the world-class manufacturing capable in our region, and as a symbol of agricultural strength both here and abroad.”

“The New Holland name is known globally as one of the top manufacturers of agricultural equipment, and much of that history is anchored here in this plant,” said Timothy Smith, CNH Industrial New Holland Plant Manager.

The New Holland brand has been serving the needs of farmers and ranchers across North America since 1895. In New Holland, Pa. the plant sits on 341 acres and employs more than 450 people. Globally, New Holland has more than 3,000 dealers serving customers in 160 countries.

“We’re honored that Senator Casey spent time with our people, and our equipment, to see the positive impact manufacturing here has on the region and around the globe,” said Smith.
    
CNH Industrial has 12 manufacturing plants, 10 research and development centers, and a workforce of 9,000 people in North America. The company designs, produces and sells ‘machines for work’ and is present in all major markets worldwide giving it a unique competitive position.
