Congressman Mike Pompeo visits CNH Industrial construction equipment facility in Wichita, Kansas
CNH Industrial (NYSE: CNHI /MI: CNHI) hosted Congressman Mike Pompeo at its construction machinery facility in Wichita, Kansas today. Established in 1974, the Wichita site has Research & Development and production lines for skid steer loaders and compact track loaders for CNH Industrial’s Case and New Holland Construction Equipment brands and a workforce of over 400 employees.

Representative Pompeo visited the site in an effort to keep close to constituents and gain an overall appreciation for the manufacturing contribution of this facility in Wichita, in the state of Kansas and North America at large. On this particular visit, Representative Pompeo held a town hall meeting with some 50 employees to gain their insights on issues close to them and get their opinions on district topics. Following the town hall, he toured the production line to hear about the latest updates and met with more of the site’s employees.

“Each time I visit CNH Industrial’s New Holland branded construction plant here in my district I learn something new about this fascinating sector and the people working day in and day out to make American manufacturing great. Manufacturing is a vital part of Kansas’ economy and that’s why it is so encouraging to see what a global Company such as CNH Industrial is capable of achieving here,” commented Congressman Pompeo during his visit.

“As always we greatly appreciate Representative Pompeo’s continued interest in our facility and its people. It is truly a privilege to be able to share our hard work and ideas with someone who does so much for the manufacturing sector and our district,” said Jeffery Bolander, Wichita Plant Manager.

CNH Industrial has 11 manufacturing plants, 12 Research & Development centers, and a workforce of 10,000 people in North America. The Company designs, produces and sells ‘machines for work’ and is present in all major markets worldwide giving it a unique competitive position.
