A world leader in powertrain and emission technologies, FPT Industrial is pleased to announce that it has allied with Cascade Engine Center, LLC for the distribution of its marine engines across the western U.S. and British Columbia, Canada.

With a long history of technical excellence and innovation in the design and manufacture of engines across on-road, off-road, power generation and marine, FPT Industrial has recognized synergies in the business of Cascade Engine Center, which has provided engine solutions since 1961. Supplying the marine, industrial, forestry, agriculture, power generation and OEM diesel markets in the Pacific Northwest, Cascade Engine Center has extended its business offering, filling a gap in its own marine engines range.

Through Cascade Engine Center, FPT Industrial’s state-of-the-art Tier 3 marine diesel engines will now be distributed in western North America (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming) and British Columbia, Canada.

“We’re delighted to be extending the reach of FPT Industrial’s marine engines across the U.S. and Western Canada,” said Jeff Williams, Manager, North America Sales & Key Accounts. “Cascade Engine Center holds the same values of providing expertly engineered, quality solutions and we’re looking forward to supporting their customers with our latest innovations in the powertrain sector.”

Tim A. Hess, President of Cascade, said: “We’ve been aware of FPT’s engineering expertise in the marine sector for some time, but now the opportunity has arrived for us to partner and expand both business offerings to a wider audience. We look forward to working closely with the team and delivering these solutions to our U.S. and Canadian customer base.”

FPT Industrial is an established engine manufacturer that produces market-leading diesel engines for the marine industry, ranging from 20 to 825 hp, along with propulsion, control and monitoring systems. Featuring models that meet Tier 3 requirements, its broad line-up enables it to equip a variety of vessels.
