CASE introduces new machines and technologies to the South East Asian market at the Big 5 Construct Indonesia exhibition 2017.

CASE Construction Equipment unveils new products and technical innovations at The Big 5 Construct Indonesia exhibition at the Jakarta Conference Center, Indonesia, on 8th - 10th November, 2017. CASE and its Indonesian distributor, PT. Probesco Disatama, will have a strong presence with a stand inside the Center and an interactive 200 sq.m. demonstration area outside.

Construct Indonesia is the first chance for many visitors to see the CASE SiteWatch Telematics system, introduced this June in Bangkok at the first edition of Intermat ASEAN, Thailand, and the first public showing in South East Asia of three new CASE crawler dozers. CASE will also show examples of its world-renowned motor graders, skid steer loaders, and backhoe loaders, and its SiteControl machine control solutions for excavators and motor graders.

Construct Indonesia features 300 exhibitors, CPD-certified workshops, and keynote speakers including senior representatives of government agencies and committees. The exhibition, co-located with Indonesia Infrastructure Week, is expected to attract more than 12,000 visitors.

New equipment for Indonesia’s growing construction activities

Three new arrivals in South East Asia are the crawler dozers: CASE L-Series 1150L and 1650L models and CASE M- Series 2050M model.

We expect visitors to Construct Indonesia to show a high level of interest in our new crawler dozers,” said Danilo Catalucci, Head of Marketing for CASE Construction Equipment in South East Asia and Japan. “These tracked bulldozers are agile and strong, with front-mounted blades for moving large quantities of soil, sand and rubble - ideal for preparing the construction of roadways, bridges, utilities, and buildings.

Both the 1150L and 1650L offer best-in-class rear drawbar pulling capacity and controllability, with faster cycle times. The 2050M model puts powerful precision at your disposal thanks to best-in-class horsepower of 214 hp, massive drawbar pull of nearly 81,000 lbs, fingertip controls and customisable steering, shuttle and blade sensitivity settings that can be adjusted between Smooth, Moderate and Aggressive to match ground conditions and operator comfort.

The superior performance and ease of operation of CASE’s crawler dozers is achieved by the latest-generation hydrostatic transmission, with a triple-reduction final drive to ensure high torque on the ground; a 6.7-litre six- cylinder power from leading global engine manufacturer FPT Industrial, with power and fuel efficiency boosted by common-rail fuel injection and a turbocharger with an air-to-air intercooler; a PAT (Power Angle Tilt) blade, adjustable to a wide range of applications and working environments; and a tiltable cab giving ground-level access to all main components for easy serviceability. The 2050M model offers both PAT and Bulldozer blades.

Two more highlights on CASE’s exhibition stands will be the CASE SiteWatch Telematics system, which provides remote monitoring of equipment to boost productivity and minimize downtime, and its suite of SiteControl machine control solutions for excavators and motor graders.

CASE SiteWatch Telematics connect directly to the machine’s CAN-bus electronic control system to monitor a wide range of operating data. This provides fleet managers with information throughout the day about engine idle time, fuel levels, and machine performance - data which makes it possible to address inefficiencies, cut down on operating costs, and improve maintenance scheduling.

CASE SiteControl, developed in partnership with global leader Leica Geosystems, is a machine guidance system which provides the perfect add-on for machine operation. By providing smart, customisable machine positioning for road construction and civil engineering projects, this allows the machine operator to work to the same 2D or 3D design information as the contractor in the office - so increasing accuracy and flexibility for the contractor and reducing time and cost on site.

Dipta Pratangga, CASE Construction Equipment Business Manager for South East Asia, commented: “Demand for construction equipment is growing in Indonesia. As this expanding market attracts the participation of new construction businesses it becomes ever more competitive, demanding more efficient construction methods and construction equipment. This is driving customers to adopt advanced technologies such as the CASE SiteControl precision system and SiteWatch telematics. We expect a high level of interest in these technologies at Construct Indonesia, as well as our new crawler dozers - and our motor graders, skid steer loaders, and backhoe loaders are always popular.

Mr Leo Chandra, Senior Manager for distributor PT. Probesco Disatama, said: “These are exciting times for us, with new products and technical solutions to meet increasing demand in the Indonesian construction industry. We are constantly expanding our product offering to provide solutions for everything from infrastructure works to residential and commercial building and we look forward to discussing these things with visitors to our stands.”
