Release Date: 15 Sep 2020
Агровидение CNH Industrial 2020. Новые вызовы — новые возможности

Agrovision 2020 is a large scale agricultural show from CNH Industrial and will be broadcast online on September 17. The live interactive broadcast will cover the new perspectives of agriculture, as well as major farming events and activities.

A competition to see who baled the most straw, harvested the most wheat, protected crops faster and more accurately, or cultivated the largest sowing area, while minimizing fuel consumption and ensuring strict compliance with the best farming practices, will be broadcast online on September 17.

Agrovision 2020 is an initiative of CNH Industrial, a world-leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery under the brands of Case IH and New Holland.

The large-scale online show is an interactive platform that will bring together farming professionals from across Russia and abroad, competing in and analyzing real life farming operations.

Twelve farms in Russia and the Republic of Belarus are participating in the project, which involved completing a specific type of farming operation such as harvesting, baling, spraying or cultivation, using the farmers’ designated Case IH or New Holland machinery. For each region, performance indicators were identified to select the winner, and the representatives from each farm employed all of their expertise and did their utmost to win.

While the farming operations were completed in August, the winners will only be announced during the broadcast, with prizes awarded not only to the tournament winners, but also to guests of the show.

The roaring sounds of tractor and combine engines, mixed with agrotechnical discussions will be intertwined with sports-style commentary as a professional presenter will convey all the thrill of the battle for supremacy during the various tournaments.

During the live broadcast an additional competition will be held: a blitz virtual tournament between the gamer and the farmer with the help of the 3D Farming Simulator 20, a globally popular computer game that allows gamers to manage virtual farms, complete with authentic virtual machinery.

During the agricultural show, independent experts will share their views on the performance and features of the demonstrated machinery and technologies, including Igor Abakumov (publisher of the Krestyanskie Vedomosti portal), Nikolay Lychev (managing partner of the Agrotrend portal) and Dmitry Rylko (General Director of the IKAR Institute for Agricultural Market Studies).

Guests in the studio, including specialists from CNH Industrial, representatives of Farming Simulator and Stoll, as well as farmers, will take part in the discussion.

A wide range of theoretical and practical issues and topics will be covered, including precision farming, differential fertilization or seeding, mapping, automatic soil sampling and the use of autopilots, alternative fuels, and even autonomous farming machinery.

Viewers will be able to have their say, ask questions or share their opinions via an interactive chat that will be displayed in the studio of the Agrovision 2020 online show.

“We are opening a professional discussion platform where anyone having access to the internet can get acquainted with the mega-trends in agriculture, share their experience and opinions, ask experts their questions and learn about the latest agricultural technologies used around the world,” says Fabrizio Cepollina, CEO of CNH Industrial Russia.
