IVECO inaugurated today the new facilities of its Authorized Workshop in Trabzon, Armutcuoğlu, which supports the brand’s full range. The ribbon-cutting ceremony and official opening of the facility was well attended by customers and IVECO management and staff.

Founded in 1994 and an IVECO authorized workshop since 1997, Armutcuoğlu has invested in a modern workshop after 22 years in its previous premises. The new facility reaches an area of 4,600 m2, of which 2,900 m2 covered. The new facility is capable of servicing seven trucks simultaneously, having increased the number of bays. The well-equipped workshop also features new lifts and tools, and a new painting oven has been installed in the body shop for quality finishing. The location, on a main road connecting Trabzon to major inland cities, is ideal for providing support to logistics operators.

In his opening speech, Managing Director Necati Armutçuoğlu said: “We are proud to have served the Trabzon region for the last 22 years, and we have invested in these new and modern premises to better support our customers and the IVECO brand. To this end, we will also increase the number of our staff by 40% within the next year.

IVECO Turkey Marketing Director Tansu Giz, added: IVECO is a fast-growing brand in Turkey, and our market share has doubled in the last nine years. Today, we are the third brand in the country in the 3.5-tonne and above truck segment with an 8% market share. Workshops such as Armutçuoğlu have greatly contributed to this success. We always aim to be close to our customers, providing the vehicles they need and the best services to complement them. I would like to thank Necati Armutçuoğlu and his family for their trust in IVECO and their investment in this modern facility.

During the inauguration, Tansu Giz and Yıldırım Tanılkan, CNH Industrial Network Development Director in Turkey, presented Necati Armutçuoğlu with a commemorative plate.
