IVECO showcases Eurocargo trucks at the Kazavtodor-Kaztraffic-2019 international exhibition in Kazakhstan

IVECO displayed the first “Made in Kazakhstan” bodies on Eurocargo chassis by its official distributor Stahlbau at the Kazavtodor-Kaztraffic-2019 International Exhibition.

IVECO was present with its official distributor, Stahlbau LLP, at the 16th Kazavtodor-Kaztraffic-2019 International Exhibition, which was held on November of 28-29 in Nur-Sultan with official support from the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition, where the latest achievements in the field of road construction, repair, maintenance of roads are presented, is a center of attraction for experts in the road industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Stahlbau participated in the exhibition for the first time as a domestic manufacturer of commercial utility equipment. It displayed a vacuum sweeper and a multipurpose road maintenance vehicle, both on the IVECO Eurocargo chassis, which attracted the interest of many visitors. The sustainable and maneuverable Eurocargo is the perfect match for all urban missions thanks to its unparalleled features that optimise efficiency, lifetime and eco-sustainability. The opening ceremony of the exhibition took place with the participation of the Vice-Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Kamaliev Berik Saylauovich; the Head of the Secretariat of the MSD - Karimov Buri Bachabekovich; and the President of the Polish Road Congress - Kotlarek Zbigniew. More than 100 companies participated in the exhibition, as well as scientists and specialists from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Germany, France, Turkey, the People’s Republic of China and other countries.

The exhibition programme also included business events and a conference about “Innovative approaches in road construction: prospects and development”. Themes focused on Innovative technologies and materials”, “Quality of roads. Realities and Prospects” and "Actual issues of road maintenance and road safety".
