Case IH Axial-Flow Combine
Case IH makes an impact at CIAME 2015 show with its Axial-Flow® 4088 combine receiving the Product Innovation Award and the launch of the new Puma® 2304 tractor that extends the full powershift offering to 230hp. Both machines are produced at the CNH Industrial’s manufacturing complex in Harbin.

Case IH, a brand of CNH Industrial, is present at the China International Agriculture Machinery Exhibition (CIAME), one of the most important events for agricultural mechanization in China. The 2015 edition is held in Qingdao, in the eastern Shandong Province on the east coast, from October 26 to 28, with companies representing more than 20 countries from all over the world and around 1,900 exhibitors. Case IH is a leading brand in the market for high power tractors, combine harvesters, self-propelled sprayers, sugar cane harvesters and cotton pickers.

Product Innovation Award to the Axial-Flow 4088
One year after making its debut on the Chinese market at the CIAME 2014 show, the Axial-Flow 4088 combine harvester stood out among 423 products entered by 145 companies to win the Product Innovation Award at this year’s exhibition. The award, which was announced today in Qingdao during the show, is run under the auspices of the China Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers (CAAMM), the China Association of Agricultural Mechanization (CAAM) and the China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association (CAMDA). This is its second recognition, and comes after the Axial-Flow® 4000 Series won the Gold Award for Technology Innovation at China’s Agricultural Machinery Top 50 Awards in August, 2015.

The Case IH Axial-Flow 4000 Series combines are produced at the Harbin plant, the largest agricultural manufacturing facility in Northeast China that offers a wide range of product solutions to suit the specific needs of Chinese customers.

With up to 210 horsepower and a grain tank that holds as much as 6,000 litres, the 4088 is designed to put tonnes in the trailer as fast as possible – in all crops and all conditions.

At the heart of every Case IH Axial-Flow 4088 combine is the legendary Axial-Flow rotor developed to boost throughputs and delivers high grain, in dry and wet conditions, regardless of the crop being harvested.

With a variety of headers and kits, and thanks to its single rotor Axial-Flow technology, the Axial-Flow® 4088 model can harvest a wide variety of crops, including corn, wheat, rice, soybean and rapeseed, while maintaining the same levels of efficiency and high grain quality providing a unique multipurpose machine without rivals in the market.

The Axial-Flow 4088 combine on display at the show is equipped with a six-row 65cm row spacing 5506 corn header, also produced in Harbin. It is also available with optional stalk choppers, to harvest the cob and chop the stalks in one pass. Case IH is the only domestic combine manufacturer offering a chopping corn header in China.

The Axial-Flow 4088 combine is powered by a highly fuel efficient China Ⅲ certified FPT Industrial 6.7 litre engine. The 6-cylinder turbocharged engine provides dependable performance in all conditions and the 610mm diameter Axial-Flow® rotor delivers a consistent and high threshing performance in all crops and conditions. The grain-on-grain threshing action limits grain losses and, most importantly, ensures very low grain damage.

The outstanding performance, high efficiency and low grain crackage of these machines have made the Case IH Axial-Flow® 4000 series combine a favorite among corn, rice and wheat customers all over China.

The new Puma® 2304 extends the full powershift offering
Case IH presented the new Puma 230, extending the Puma family in the Chinese market. Puma is an efficient, multipurpose high horsepower tractor family designed to handle a wide variety of tasks in medium to large farms.

The Puma 2304, fitted with the new 230 hp rated China III certified FPT Industrial Tier 3 NEF engine, joins the two current Puma models offered in China: the Puma 1854 and the Puma 2104 both available with full powershift transmissions. With this new addition, Case IH is extending the full powershift offering up to 230hp. Produced at the Harbin manufacturing plant, the Puma 2304 delivers higher productivity than competitors, especially when matched to the most demanding implements thanks to its incredible power reserve and the full powershift transmission that requires no manual range changes or clutching throughout all the set of gears with great benefits to productivity.

Case IH showcases its offering for the Chinese market
In addition to the award-winning Axial-Flow 4088 combine and the new Puma 2304 model, Case IH is showing products that are well-known and appreciated in the Chinese market. Among them are the Magnum™ 3154 tractor (315hp) that offers increased output with wider and heavier implements and is particularly suitable for large cash crop production operations; the Austoft® 4000 sugar cane harvester (174hp) which, with its compact design and light weight, is tailored for the Chinese market and in particular its row spacing and small plots; and the DV90R 9 row precision planter equipped with dry fertilizer boxes.
