New Holland Agriculture introduces a major upgrade of the TD3.50 Series tractor that brings significant improvements to performance and ergonomics. The new TD3.50 has also adopted the family styling of New Holland tractors. Luca Mainardi, Head of Tractor and Precision Land Management Product Management, comments: “The TD3.50 is a multipurpose value tractor very well suited for a wide variety of applications typical of small tractors, including hobby, equestrian and small open field applications. The improvements we introduced further extend its excellent versatility and add to the operator’s comfort.”

New styling and improved ergonomics

The new hood features the family styling of New Holland tractors, with the sleek side panels and side grills. The fuel tank has been redesigned to fit with the new styling. The rear linkage and operator platform are now separated by a steel partition behind the seat, bringing improvements to safety, ergonomics and styling.

The controls layout has been revised to improve ergonomics: the shuttle lever has been relocated to the left of the steering wheel, the Lift-O-Matic™ and hand throttle controls have been repositioned for better comfort, and the draft and position control levers have a redesigned cluster that groups functions together for greater convenience. The foot pedals have been ergonomically redesigned and repositioned. The seat position has been improved and the steering wheel raised and tilted forward, so that the operator sits with a more comfortable working posture.

New FPT Tier 3 engine: proven performance and 40% more torque

The new FPT engine of the TD3.50 is the proven S8000, which has been delivering a reliable and powerful performance on many New Holland products. The Tier 3 turbocharged 3-cylinder engine develops 48 hp and 40% more torque than its predecessor, with 190 Nm @ 1400 rpm.

Stronger rear linkage: 50% more lift capacity

The rear linkage with the new lower arms, which are stronger and shorter by 100 mm, has a lift capacity of 2200 kg, 50% more than the previous model.

Cast front axle support and long wheelbase: increased strength and stability

The cast front axle support is stronger and results in a better weight distribution. Together with the longer wheelbase of 2057 mm and the shorter overall dimension of the tractor, this results in improved stability.
