There is now an enhanced line of mid-range U MY24 series loaders available from STEYR® that can be ordered with or retrofitted to Kompakt, Plus, Multi, Expert, Profi and Impuls tractors, with improvements which boost operator visibility, robustness and performance.
The launch of the new range also sees the introduction of a new model. Equipped with a mechanical self-levelling system, the S4525U has a lift capacity of 2,500kg and a maximum lift height of 4.50m. It is designed for use with STEYR Impuls and Profi tractors, and now offers the highest possible loader capacity for these models. With the addition of the S4525U, there are now eleven U MY24 series models to match five of the key STEYR tractor ranges and a variety of customer needs.
The new U MY24 series loaders incorporate a new boom design with slanted mid-section, forming three-section booms that follow the line of the tractor hood and provide improved visibility down towards the loader headstock and attachment. This is further enhanced by lowering of the crossbar by 12cm, a combination that also improves robustness and resilience. All new U MY24 series loaders also benefit from an upgraded paint process that results in a more durable finish and delineates between the loaders’ moving and non-moving parts.
Other design improvements include elevated lift arms to ensure there is no opportunity for them to come into contact with the tractor’s front wheels and mudguards, and rerouted hydraulic hoses to ensure there is no likelihood of contact with tractor components and no obscuring of lighting. Redesigning of the headstock arm mounting points on the beam elbows that articulate the headstock means they have a greater surface bearing, with self-levelling models incorporating a forged pivot point. Further enhancements include a new shielding design to enhance protection of hydraulic hoses.
