STEYR® Connect Room Hub: protection against downtime / Connected services for optimal machine health and maximum performance

STEYR® Traktoren unlocks the potential of the high technological content of its tractors with the Connect Room Hub and its connectivity enabled services. Remote monitoring of connected STEYR tractors round the clock makes it possible to act proactively to resolve issues as they arise or even prevent them from happening. The wealth of information generated by the machines as they work in the field provides valuable insights to help customers get the most from their tractors and protect their investment.

Through the tractors’ connectivity, our technical teams and our dealers will be in the field with them virtually, advising them on how to get the best performance, maximizing their tractor’s uptime and, when necessary, taking action to resolve any issue almost in real time. With the Connect Room, they will never be alone in the field!”

The Connect Room Hub for Europe, recently installed in St Valentin, is the nerve center of a network of Dealer Connect Rooms. It receives in real time the vast amounts data generated by connected STEYR tractors working in the field. This wealth of information is analysed by our product experts who update the system accordingly. Alerts, machine operation advice and useful insights are automatically sent to the customer’s STEYR dealer’s Connect Room.

Our dealers monitor their customers’ tractors round the clock through their Connect Room. When they receive an alert, they can act immediately. Sometimes, when the alert flags an anomaly that may lead to a fault, they can resolve it before the this happens, preventing downtime. In some cases, they can do this remotely by connecting to the tractor, even viewing its display – just as if they were in the cab with the customer – conduct remote diagnostics and address the issue.

Connect Room Hub: protect tractor performance, health and value

The STEYR Connect Room Hub can help the customer optimize the efficient deployment of their tractor and protect their investment. 

The team can contact the customer proactively to plan regular maintenance service of their connected STEYR tractor at the most convenient time to ensure the machine is always available to them when they need it and there is no disruption to their farming operation.

The Connect Room Hub also helps customers use their tractor most efficiently, keep it in good health, maximize their productivity and protect their investment with three tupes of reports.

Monthly Machine History Report: the telemetry and sensor data generated by the tractor is analysed in this report, which gives a comprehensive picture of machine’s usage and health status, and identifies possible issues. The advantage: good use and health of the tractor, and protection of its residual value.

Machine Care Report: a comprehensive record of the tractor’s every maintenance service, repair and inspection. The advantage: traceability of its entire service history and a transparent relationship with their dealer and STEYR.

Operational Report: operation KPIs and insights enable the customer to understand whether their operator is using the machine correctly, efficiently and safely, and identify any areas of improvement that can be addressed with tailored operator training provided by their dealer. The advantage: machine health and productivity, operator safety.
