New Holland CR Revelation Combine Harvester IntelliSense Automation System wins EIMA innovation award
New Holland Agriculture has won three awards in the Technical Innovation Contest at the 2018 edition of EIMA International, a bi-annual international agricultural machinery exhibition held in Bologna, Italy from November 7 to 11, 2018.

New Holland Agriculture, a brand of CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE: CNHI / MI: CNHI), has won the following awards in the Technical Innovation Contest organized by FederUnacoma (the Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation): Technical Innovation award for the IntelliSense™ system on the New Holland CR Revelation combine harvester, Special Mention for the latest New Holland T5 Auto Command™ tractor series with continuously variable transmission and Stage V engine and Special Mention for the Intelligent Trailer Braking System.

The IntelliSense™ proactive and automatic setting system is available on CR Revelation combine harvesters, New Holland’s flagship harvesting range, and is designed to maximize output and minimize grain loss and damage. This pioneering system brings major productivity benefits to customers by automatically setting up and adjusting all harvesting parameters on-the-go and in real time leaving the operator free to focus exclusively on driving the machine.

The new T5 Auto Command™ tractor series, which will be unveiled at EIMA International 2018, is equipped with a state-of-the-art, continuously variable transmission (CVT) and is ideal for livestock and mixed farming. Fitted with a specially developed FPT Industrial NEF Stage V 4.5 liter engine, the panel of judges was particularly impressed with the innovative fully under-hood installation of the HI-eSCR2 life-long exhaust gas after-treatment system. This highly integrated system improves visibility and maneuverability, increases operating versatility and raises the level of operator safety during inter-row and grassland operations, thanks to the increased ground clearance.

New Holland Agriculture received a further Special Mention for its patented Intelligent Trailer Braking System, which improves tractor stability during deceleration when towing a trailer, resulting in increased safety during transport operations. The system acts by detecting the drop in tractor speed and calculating the deceleration force.  An electronically controlled trailer brake valve then automatically applies the trailer brakes so that the deceleration rate of the trailer matches that of the tractor.
