New Holland Saskatoon facility receives Leadership in Energy Management award from SaskPower utility company
The New Holland facility, CNH Industrial’s (NYSE: CNHI /MI: CNHI) sole manufacturing site in Canada, achieved a 25 percent reduction in electricity consumption since 2012, leading SaskPower to name the facility as the most proactive Industrial Energy Optimization Program (IEOP) participant in identifying and implementing energy savings projects.
“Through the IEOP, we provide technical assistance to help identify and develop opportunities for increasing cost savings and reducing energy. We also provide financial incentives to turn those opportunities into action,” said Dallas Munro, IEOP manager at SaskPower. “We are excited about the New Holland facility’s efficiency achievements. The results show other organizations that participation in the IEOP can increase efficiencies through the implementation of cost effective projects,” Munro said.
