Agritechnica 2017 had many award ceremonies, including the "Machine of the Year", where FPT Industrial was present with its CNH Industrial sister brands. The jury, composed of 24 international expert journalists, awarded the Case IH Maxxum Multicontroller, the STEYR Profi and the New Holland Agriculture T6.175 Dynamic Command in the “Mid-Class” tractor category. FPT Industrial is proud to underline its strong market leadership in Europe for Agricultural machinery engines over 30 hp, and these accolades are a further recognition of the constant innovation, research and development dedicated to our customers.
The winning tractors are all powered by FPT Industrial N45 and N67 Stage IV/Tier 4 Final engines, confirming FPT Industrial’s preeminence in the Agriculture field. Since 2001, the NEF series has been a recognized point of excellence for FPT Industrial, with more than 1.6 million engines produced. It features best-in-class power and torque, fuel efficiency, a Common Rail injection system and is equipped with HI-eSCR.
The FPT Industrial HI-eSCR patented technology is the first of its kind to achieve Stage IV and Tier 4 Final emissions regulations without a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), no Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), no additional maintenance and no further oil deterioration due to EGR, further ensuring a massive reduction in NOx emissions. Consequently, the HIeSCR technology is regeneration free and for life.
The whole NEF series grants efficiency, robustness and quality, achieving high performance in terms of load response. Low fuel consumption and long maintenance intervals (up to 600 hours) are also ensured, as well as low operating costs. Furthermore, its structural layout is developed to perfectly fit into the vehicle structure.
