New Holland T3.75F compact tractor

Growers eagerly anticipating the UK debut of New Holland’s T3F compact speciality tractor range finally got to grips with it at this year’s Fruit Focus.

The impressive T3.75F model was a highlight of the fruit industry’s leading technical event, which took place at the East Malling Research Centre, Kent, on Wednesday 23rd July.

The T3.75F is a versatile and agile machine boasting a compact and narrow body yet can lift its own weight, at 2.2t on the powerful rear linkage.

Best in class hydraulics boast an impressive 52l/min oil flow for the rear linkage and remotes valves, with up to three available, together with a 32l/min dedicated steering pump, meaning that that the steering remains light and easy to operate no matter what task this capable tractor is undertaking.

The 2.9-litre three-cylinder engine is Tier 3 and turbocharged to handle every challenge. New Holland's Lift-O-Matic™ is standard and enables an implement to be raised and lowered to its previous setting with a single control.

The platform, meanwhile, is fully suspended on isolation mounts to reduce noise and vibration to the operator and all major controls are grouped to the right hand side, creating an enhanced and comfortable driving position for the operator. Telescopic steering column is standard for all models.

With the option of 1.35 metres outside-outside width and a short wheel-base of 1.86 metres, the turning radius is just 3.4 metres.

The T3.75F took its place among New Holland’s eye-catching line-up at Fruit Focus, where it rubbed shoulders with the T3030, and the popular T4.95F general-purpose fruit tractor.

Jeremy Cloude, General Sales Manager of New Holland dealership Haynes Agricultural Ltd which ran the stand, said: “The T3.75F went down very well. Customers were asking lots of leading questions, like how much and when can they get one.

“People were impressed with the T3.75F’s advances. They liked the overall package but particularly its strength and rigidness. We had quite a few sales leads which we’re following up.”

Haynes Agricultural Ltd is based in Maidstone, Kent, and operates from three depots in Great Chart, Wrotham and Uckfield, serving customers across Kent and East Sussex.
