CNH Industrial (NYSE: CNHI /MI: CNHI) hosted Congressman Peter Roskam at its North American headquarters in Burr Ridge, Ill., today. The Congressman, who has represented Illinois’ 6th congressional district since 2007, met with CNH Industrial CEO Richard Tobin and other members of the Company’s management team for a roundtable discussion on business growth in Illinois. He also toured the facility, where he was informed about the Company’s brands:  Case IH, New Holland Agriculture, Case Construction Equipment, New Holland Construction, and FPT Industrial powertrain in North America.

“It was a pleasure to host Congressman Roskam today at our North American headquarters. All of us here at CNH Industrial appreciated him taking the time to discuss our business, share his perspectives and learn more about his work here in our home state of Illinois,” said Richard Tobin, CNH Industrial CEO.

The Burr Ridge facility, a key research and development center for CNH Industrial, includes product development, testing labs, design services, and a state of the art virtual reality center. The site also houses global and regional leadership, business operations and engineering functions.

Burr Ridge’s virtual reality room has the capability to display equipment from CNH Industrial’s different brands in true scale. This allows designers and engineers to build digital prototypes before building any single part of the physical machine. The Company makes a practice of bringing in key customers on a monthly basis to acquire feedback as they virtually take them through concept machines and those under development on the 18’ wide by 14’ tall display wall.

“I appreciated the opportunity to visit CNH Industrial and learn about the good work they’re doing in our community. We had a productive discussion about the tax and regulatory climate and brainstormed ways to encourage economic growth here in Illinois,” added Congressman Roskam.

CNH Industrial has 11 manufacturing plants, 12 research and development centers, and a workforce of 10,000 people in North America. The Company designs, produces and sells ‘machines for work’ and is present in all major markets worldwide giving it a unique competitive position.
