The Methane Powered Concept Tractor forms part of New Holland’s Energy Independent FarmSM Concept, which sees farmers providing for all of their own energy needs. This tractor can run on biogas produced from agricultural and food waste, which can reduce CO2 by 95%. What’s more, it has exactly the same power as a standard diesel tractor, meaning it can complete the same tasks, just more quietly and with lower emissions.
