CASE Construction приняла участие во Втором международном демонтажном форуме России

The crawler excavator, supplied by CASE dealer STM, has completed the demolition of the Voronezh nuclear power station.

CASE Construction Equipment, a brand of CNH Industrial, received the prestigious award during the 2nd Russian Demolition Forum, which was held in September in Moscow. CASE and its dealer STM were Gold sponsors of the event.

The CASE CX 800B, supplied by STM, was specially developed for the demolition of the buildings of a nuclear power station in Voronezh. The buildings, made of super-strong concrete with high load-bearing characteristics and floors up to 900 mm thick, presented a particularly tough challenge for the excavator. The CASE CX 800B in a special configuration featuring a 32-meter boom for operation with 5-ton shears or a hydraulic hammer, took it all in stride and completed the demolition project successfully.

This was the second demolition project in this machinery class for which STM successfully delivered unprecedented solutions in 2020 – the other was completed with a CX490C excavator. Before the end of this year, STM will deliver a further 80-ton CASE demolition excavator for a large-scale infrastructure project.
